Who is this for?

Whether you're just starting out or are already a full time creator, if you’re someone who learns by doing and wants to vastly expand your skillset, this masterclass is for you.

Each workshop location offers two weeks for different skill levels. Both weeks cover the exact same "core" topics, but the beginner track takes extra time to explain key terms and concepts so no one is left behind. We shoot on location, edit together with guidance, and review as a group.

This year, we’re bringing UNSCRIPTED to Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, two often overlooked destinations which in our book, as you probably know, makes for the perfect adventure. We’ll share the same villa (or yurts), and meals. Adventures are taken care of so the only thing left to focus on is the craft of filmmaking.

From morning shoots to afternoon edits, every day is about diving into different steps of the process, asking questions, experimenting, and learning what it really takes to create a film like you see on Fernweh Chronicles.

This isn’t a big, impersonal workshop. It’s a small group, living and creating together. You’ll walk away not just with new skills, but with clarity, confidence, and a real sense of direction for your filmmaking.

A Note from Georg

Hi! I’m really glad you’re here.

As you probably already know, I live and breathe creating films that make people feel something.

I’ve found real purpose and personal growth in the creative process. These films aren’t just a product of technical skill (though I’m excited to get into that with you), they’re also the result of seeing the world from a different perspective.

I can’t wait to share my entire process with you. We will deep-dive into both, the technical side and the mindset behind creating something powerful. Together, we’ll explore how to discover your voice and your perspective,  as a storyteller, a creator, a filmmaker.
